Mr. Dominic Rizzo chartered the industry’s first open source silicon root of trust chip, the OpenTitan project. He serves today as the Project Director externally and is responsible for managing Google’s team of silicon, security and software engineering contributors. He is a corporate director at the lowRISC CIC, the organization responsible for technical support OpenTitan and its community of open silicon contributing partners. Besides open, secure silicon, Mr. Rizzo is interested in secure silicon countermeasure development, hardware 2nd-factor authentication, increasing trust and transparency in silicon design, and formal methods to guarantee implementation correctness and security of critical software.
